Who You Are:

Oracle's Customer Experience Learning and Development organization is a focused group of Education experts whose mission is to empower local governments through comprehensive training, and education on NetSuite for Government.

As a Senior Curriculum Developer who reports to the Director of Learning & Development, you have a background in assessing the educational needs of adult learners. You have a successful record of creating self-paced curriculum that lead customers to successful adoption of tool procedures and concepts. You have confirmed experience with eLearning tools including video, eLearning, creating assessments and documentation.

The ideal candidate possesses a passion for training, has excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrates consistent attention to detail, cares deeply about customer satisfaction, and exhibits solid project management skills.

Experience with ERP, financial or accounting software is strongly desired

Responsibilities

What you will do:

  • Establish & maintain multi-functional collaboration with Product, Technical Writers, Implementation, Customer Success & Technical Support teams to define needs, design courses & develop an internal knowledge base.
  • Design & develop curricula for both internal & external teams concerning NetSuite for Government’s features, functions, and potential use cases.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to augment go-live support, service adoption, and value realization for NetSuite for Government customers.
  • Establish & manage Domain Expert relationships for content development & maintain educational standards for Public Administration.
  • Create training documentation including quick reference materials.
  • Collaborate with leadership & learning designers to design training frameworks that are driven by learning and performance objectives.
  • Apply principles of adult learning theory, cognitive science, and human-centered design to develop programs that are relevant, engaging, and effective for Local Government audiences.
  • Manage content maintenance to ensure training is updated based on major production functionality enhancements.
  • Identify & integrate new opportunities for knowledge/skill development among customers and internal teams.
  • Manage curriculum performance by establishing feedback loops & tracking KPI’s.

What you've done:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Information Systems, Technology or related field or equivalent experience, Master’s Degree desirable but not required.
  • 5+ years’ experience in adult education: Tutoring, Instruction, Program/Curriculum Development and/or Learning Design
  • Experience with Agile workflows, rapid prototyping, and project management.
  • Experience with SaaS organizations, workflows and Customer Experience (CX).
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), course development tools (Articulate, Camtasia, video, text, image creation, e-learning authoring), & web conferencing applications (Zoom).
  • Experience developing end-user training for ERP software systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with all levels of personnel in a diverse workforce.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sophisticated projects, manage evolving circumstances, and maintain alignment with collaborators to achieve performance goals.

It would be amazing if you also had:

  • Experience with video production & editing, graphic design, HTML, copyediting, publication, and/or versioning.
  • An interest in municipal finance, city management, urban planning, smart cities, data security, and/or SaaS enablement.

US: Hiring Range: from $70,600 - $141,300 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  • Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
