Senior Derivatives Operations Officer

Hamlyn Williams have partnered with a top tier financial institution looking to bring on a Senior Derivatives Operation Manager to assist with derivative middle-office trade support, data management, investment accounting oversight, and derivative legal compliance.

In this role you will:

• Work closely with Derivative Portfolio Management, Derivative Trading, Legal, Treasury, and Investment Accounting to support end-to-end trade processing and data management for a variety of derivative products.
• Work closely with foreign and domestic investment banks to manage settlements associated with derivative trade events, margin requirements, cash management, and collateral.
• Assist management with operational support for strategic initiatives and projects, including the implementation of new processes, systems, investment products, and hedging strategies.

In this role you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree (in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, MIS, or related field) or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience required.
• 4+ years of progressive responsibility and experience in finance, accounting, or related industry required.
• Knowledge of and prior experience with Derivative post-trade workflows required.
• Experience with collateral management, bilateral variation margin, bilateral initial margin, futures and cleared swap margining, and portfolio reconciliation
• Project management experience a plus
