Our client is a multi brand beauty company that is seeking a new Senior Director fo International Sales to join their team in NYC!
Senior Director, International Sales
Account Management:
· Manage a variety of international markets through direct retailers and distributors. Work closely with international retailers and distributors to understand their individual needs and develop related programs to support the growth.
· Act as interface between NYC Head Office and all international partners. Owns the forward movement with head of sourcing, opps, and regulatory.
· Contribute to growth and profitability by leading best-in-class execution brand strategy in a portfolio of regions. Set up a cadence with retailer/distributor on monthly check in on business and how sales are trending. Offering new insights into how to grow business.
· Responsible for supporting and onboarding existing and new markets including coordinating brand and education induction, operational set-up, collecting monthly sales forecasting for saleable and promotional collateral, support education and merchandising needs, and build a robust seasonal marketing plan.
· Coordinate monthly business review meetings with markets to update brand on basic business, seasonal launches, and marketing plan.
· Set up a cadence with retailer/distributor on monthly check in on business and how sales are trending. Offering new insights into how to grow business.
· Responsible for analyzing sales with internal teams and retailer/distributor on where there are successes we want to chase and opportunities we need to support.
· Responsible for strategizing adds/deletes to the assortments.
· Connecting with US sales team to utilize what is working in the US and potentially expanding some of these marketing campaigns/initiatives globally.
· Track regulatory needs and status for international markets – liaise with corporate legal, marketing, and regulatory teams as needed.
· Ensure all dot com businesses have all the up-to-date assets/copy on their websites and launch new products in a timely manner.
· Support planning and execution of all brick and mortar and online businesses.
Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
· Deliver sales goals as set by management and ensure productivity targets are met (both sell-in and sell-out)
· Collect annual and monthly sales forecasting by SKU and hold business partners to annual minimums and sales targets where needed.
· Work with Demand Planning to forecast all new launches and samples.
· Report regularly on retail performance by account – including launches, seasonal promotions, and events.
· Track all retailer.com business.
· Develop/review localized marketing calendars, new launch plans and retailer specific marketing activities to ensure sensibility and flawless execution.
· Coordinate any specific market/retailer needs with Marketing/Design/Education teams.
· Optimize product assortment and instore merchandising, managing activities that lead to on-time launches.
· Recommend new ideas and opportunities to ensure efficient marketing spend with maximum sales impact.
· Lead international pricing review and alignment and co-approve market pricing for all price increases and new product launches.
· Update on competitive environment and keep global organization updated.
· Prepare presentations to pitch new markets.
Requirements:
· Must have at least 8/9 years of experience.
· Must have at least 3 years of beauty experience.
· Experience working with international distributors
· Must be proficient in excel.
· Strong entrepreneurial attitude, with excellent communication skills
