We are seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to join our growing team. Review the responsibilities and qualifications below to see if you'd be a good fit:
Responsibilities:
Travel to customer facilities to perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair support on various Modig equipment.
Deliver comprehensive in-person and/or remote training sessions to our customers.
Utilize machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues.
Ensure accurate documentation of machine issues, repairs, and installations; provide detailed feedback to management, distributors, and customers.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and all necessary information to support your role.
Qualifications:
3+ years' experience in mechanical and electrical repair, maintenance, and programming within the machine tool industry..
Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with FANUC, Heidenheim, Linear Lasers, and Laser Tracker.
Experience in CNC 5-axis gantries.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job and willingness to travel consistently.
Must pass a criminal background check and obtain security clearances.
