You will play a key role in this crucial work - working across the globe with colleagues in London, Sydney and right here in Washington DC to produce news content for millions day-to-day.

BBC News is investing in Digital with the mission of becoming the first ever digital-first, global public service news media organisation. The Digital Department is overseeing crucial growth plans for streaming on iPlayer, on BBC News live pages and on bbc.com.

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Journalist on the team you'll work with colleagues across the BBC, and in our Streaming Control Centres in Washington DC, London and Sydney to showcase BBC News at its best.

With a keen eye for moments, you'll help amplify the best of the BBC to audiences wherever they are with us, digitally.

Streaming is a major priority for BBC News across our platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the industry; you'll be motivated to embrace the challenge and work with others to seize the opportunity.
