Job Description

What will you do?

As the new Learning and Development Manager in Dallas, you’ll lead the L&D strategy for this new and fast growing office. With a key focus on onboarding and manager development, you’ll nurture our internal talent, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in their roles at Third Bridge.

Partnering with business leaders to fully understand their training needs, you’ll provide tailored modules to help our teams meet business priorities and targets. Listening to the business, you’ll keep learning experiences relevant and responsive to changes. We have a monthly intake of new joiners, so providing a great onboarding learning experience gets each cohort off to the best start, and also encourages an engaged and motivated workforce.

Collaborating with the wider People teams, including Talent Acquisition is important, but most of all, your global L&D colleagues. Building relationships with key stakeholders in different business verticals will allow you to be a trusted advisor, offering suggestions and shaping the learning and development experiences for new starters and new managers. In this role you will set a standard of excellence for all employees’ learning.

Qualifications

What will you bring?

You understand New Hire Ramp and the training challenges that this can bring. Your background in a commercial environment working within, or closely alongside, Recruitment or Sales, you’re familiar with creating and refining training programmes to address all their needs. Perhaps you’ve worked in financial or information services before, but regardless of sector, you bring a people-first approach: working with business stakeholders to understand the requirements of the team, and working with learners to create varied L&D experiences to engage different learning styles and individuals’ needs.

You thrive in a fast paced and target driven environment, managing multiple priorities to deliver L&D projects, responding to training requests, on top of your regular L&D delivery. You’re a coach and mentor with great people development skills, communicating brilliantly in a variety of media. In person, or virtually, you’re a natural teacher, confidently delivering sessions and engaging your learners.
