The Dalio Family Office (DFO) supports Barbara and Ray Dalio and their family in their ventures, investments, and philanthropic efforts under Dalio Philanthropies, which includes OceanX, Dalio Education, Endless Network, and the Beijing Dalio Foundation. Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Project Associate to join the DFO’s Project Management Pillar (PMP). This individual will report directly to the Head of the Project Management Pillar and will be responsible for leading multiple projects concurrently. The content of these projects will vary in nature, as will the complexity and duration. This person will play a direct role in the creation of the project by translating a goal/vision into a timeline with deliverables; measure outcomes along the way using milestones and metrics; report on the status/health of the project; and play a role in the execution of the project, either by direct participation or supervision of internal/external resource(s). The right individual for this role is someone with previous project management experience who is excellent at setting goals and driving them to completion. The right individual has experience leading teams on projects.

Given the evolving needs of the Founder, these individuals must also be agile; able to think on their feet and excited to handle changing priorities and new initiatives. As these employees will handle highly sensitive information, these individuals must also demonstrate high integrity and discretion. Day-to-day Responsibilities Would Include a Combination Of The Following

  • Manage several large, complex DFO projects concurrently – including timing, budget, deliverables, and risks
  • Manage internal and external resources responsible for delivering DFO projects
  • Ensure efficient and effective project management tools and practices are deployed
  • Responsible for providing the owner/senior stakeholders project progress including status updates, decisions, and escalation of any issues/risks
  • Partner with the Head of the Project Management Office to shape the Project Management team (processes, people best practices, tools, etc.)

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of project management experience, including successful completion of multiple large projects/initiatives and/or successful completion of multiple medium/large projects concurrently
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to interpret data into a clear synthesis
  • Familiarity/experience with project management software, such as Monday.com, or others, and with other basic office productivity software such as Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
  • Experience successfully managing 2-4 small to medium projects concurrently
  • Designing and implementing machines, tools and templates to continually drive for excellence

Compensation

Compensation for the role includes a competitive salary in the range from $160,000 -$190,000 (inclusive of a merit-based bonus, dependent on years of experience, level of education obtained, as well as applicable skillset) and an excellent benefits package, including a comprehensive employer paid medical plan and generous employer match for 401k.
