💰 $110,000 - $170,000 base + competitive bonus

Storm4 are partnered with a fast-growing GreenTech, who provide energy storage solutions and are making significant advancements in the renewable energy sector. Across 22 countries, this company delivers grid-scale wind, solar, and storage projects; distribution-scale solar and storage; asset optimization for generating projects; and onsite energy solutions, including solar, storage, EV charging, energy management, and microgrids.

They are building out their team in the US and of their key hires will be Senior Project Developers. This role will oversee the entire development process of renewable energy projects, from the initial greenfield stage to reaching Commercial Operation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in land acquisition, community engagement, title, financial/budgeting, permitting, pricing and marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Manage land acquisition and engage with local communities.
• Oversee site design and conduct energy assessments.
• Handle interconnection feasibility and service request processes.
• Navigate environmental and permitting processes from initial review to approval.
• Provide preliminary engineering and support for construction and project financing.
• Supervise up to 2 direct reports.
• Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Support offtake negotiations and foster relationships with current and potential customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Environmental Studies, Energy, or Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, with project management experience/certifications being a plus.
• Proven experience in project development activities.
• Ability to translate broad project goals into detailed, adaptable development plans.
• Experience in independently managing contract negotiations.
• Strong awareness of potential project development issues and the ability to promptly escalate them to Directors/RVPs with a focus on solutions.
