Your Tasks

Summary: Reporting to the Vice President Product & Operations, the Project Engineer is primarily responsible for specification control, engineering calculations, verification of scope, general arrangement layout & bill of material creation for our new 10MW MHP Electrolyzer.

With a foundation of integrity, the candidate would use commitment and creativity to drive the internationalization of H-TEC into the US forward. The position is based out of H-TECs new Houston, TX office in Brookshire.

• You will collaborate with packaging partners and adapt an Electrolyzer developed in Europe to meet regulations and standards in the United States
• You will create & review comprehensive technical specification documents and ensure solid scope of supply
• You will manage technical fabrication requirements from project initiation to close-out
• You will generate and maintain technical documentation, which includes process flow diagrams (P&ID), general arrangement drawing and data sheets
• You will work with suppliers and clients to implement streamlined and documented PCRs (project change requests)
• You will work closely with project manager to maintain cost, deliverables & implementation of contract revisions
• You will be engaged in risk evaluations aimed at recognizing and mitigating potential hazards and vulnerabilities
  
  

Your Profile

• You have successfully completed studies in process engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or equivalent qualification
• You have minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in Power Solutions Packaging, EPC or similar
• You, with a proven track record in the development of technical specification sheets coupled with knowhow in effective technical negotiations, are the game-changer we need
• You are able to operate with a high degree of autonomy, coupled with a robust sense of responsibility, swift perceptiveness and an ardent enthusiasm for tackling analytical and creative challenges
• You have a strong design experience as well as thorough knowledge of ASME, ANSI, and other common codes used in pressure process equipment
• You travel to customer offices & sites as well as to H-TEC headquarters in Germany
