About the Job: Senior SAP Data Migration Consultant

Are you an expert in SAP data migration looking to lead and mentor teams through complex migration projects? Join our dynamic consulting team as a Senior SAP Data Migration Consultant! We are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive experience in SAP data migration and a strong background in SAP functional modules. This role involves technical direction, project leadership, and hands-on execution to ensure the successful migration of SAP objects and data quality across various industries, including Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership:

• Guide and mentor project team members according to project requirements and client needs.
• Communicate effectively with onsite teams and client personnel.
• Drive blueprint sessions with onsite and client teams.

Technical Direction and Implementation:

• Take ownership of the technical aspects of SAP data migration projects.
• Ensure successful migration of SAP objects from SAP ECC to SAP S4/HANA or from legacy systems to SAP S4/HANA.
• Provide technical direction and supervision to project team members.

Data Migration Planning and Execution:

• Develop and maintain detailed SAP Data Migration plans, including integration and cutover plans.
• Perform SAP Data Extraction, Transformation, and Load (ETL) tasks.
• Execute and oversee data quality checks, data cleansing, profiling, and harmonization activities.
• Manage data conversion activities, ensuring alignment with client requirements.

Documentation and Training:

• Document all stages of the data migration process.
• Train new recruits on SAP migration toolsets.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both automated and manual testing.
• Create detailed project specifications, use case data flow diagrams, and other required documentation.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Work closely with clients and other dependent workstream stakeholders.
• Ensure project deliverables meet client requirements and are completed on time.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Continuous Improvement and Adaptation:

• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and methodologies.
• Adapt to new environments quickly and efficiently.
• Motivate and build effective teams to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

Experience:

• 12+ years of SAP Data Migration, Data Cleansing, Profiling, Harmonization, and Cutover Planning with at least 3 full SAP implementation lifecycles.
• Extensive experience with SAP functional modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, PM, PP, PS.
• Proficient in data migration tools such as BackOffice CranSoft, DSP, Syniti ADM/ADMM, and SAP Data Services.
• Proven track record in data warehousing, data analysis, and conversion planning for data migration activities.
• Experienced in Microsoft SQL, with strong SQL query skills and a comprehensive understanding of relational databases.
• Experience in the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical sectors is highly desirable.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related analytical or technical discipline. Alternatively, at least four years of related experience.
• Certifications in BackOffice Associates Data Migration and ETL Tools (Syniti ADM, qSuite, etc.) are preferred.

Skills:

• Business-process knowledge in SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, PM, PP, PS).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining SAP Data Migration plans, Integration plans, and Cutover plans.
• Skilled in SAP Data Extraction, Transformation, and Load (ETL).
• Experienced in change management and defect management processes.
• Familiarity with onsite-offshore models and leading teams of offshore and onsite developers.
• Advanced user of products for data analysis, project scheduling, business process modeling, documentation, and customer training.
