Join A National Affordable Housing Leader as Vice President of Property Operations
Responsibilities
Supervise operations of a multifamily affordable housing corporation with third-party fee managed properties.
Work closely with asset managers, owners, investors, and syndicators to achieve objectives.
Identify efficiencies, update procedures in collaboration with the executive team.
Develop and execute capital plans, budgets, review financials, and engage with clients.
Manage Regional Vice Presidents, offering support, mentorship, and training.
Cultivate long-term relationships with investors, ownership groups, and regulators.
Assess properties, advise clients as a trusted partner, and report to the senior executive team.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in affordable and conventional multifamily property management, including multi-state operations as Senior Director or Vice President.
Knowledge of LIHTC, HUD-Section 8, local city, and state programs.
Industry certifications such as CPO, CPM, SHCM, TCM preferred.
Proficiency in finance, budgets, capital expenses, rehab, and overall operations.
Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to collaborate with clients and an executive team.
Proficient in MS 365 and Property Management software.
Some travel required.
Location: South Central Texas office with relocation assistance available.
Compensation: $180,000 - $220,000+ negotiable, plus bonus and benefits package.
