Service Chief, Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatric Unit - Towson, MD

The Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatric Unit provides highly specialized care for children ages five through 17 with autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disabilities; some of those we treat may have experienced a traumatic brain injury that has caused lasting damage, while others have genetic syndromes.

What can you expect?

You will be responsible for ensuring that quality psychiatry services are provider to the patients on the inpatient unit. This role is a mix of administrative and clinical duties, seeing around 10 patients a day and participating in the weekend inpatient attending pool.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Providing clinical leadership.
• Developing and implementing treatment protocols.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Participating in strategic planning initiatives to enhance the scope and quality of services.
• Supporting professional growth and development for unit staff.

What we need from you.

• Must have a current license to practice in Maryland at time of hire.
• Must be board certified.
• Completion of a child and adolescent fellowship.
• Experience in an inpatient leadership position is preferred, but not required.
