Under the direction of the Senior Director of Strategic & Operational Communications, develops and implements Sheppard Pratt’s growth-focused social media strategy and online reputation management strategy.
Develops and executes projects specific to Sheppard Pratt’s social media, other social media channels as assigned, and online reviews and reputation management.
Serves as back-up for website.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing social media channel strategy, content creation and posting, acquisition, community management, and growth for both Sheppard Pratt and CEO channels
Website updates
Online listing and review management
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Requires bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field
2+ years related work experience
Knowledge and experience should include: strong communication skills, proven aptitude in content marketing strategy, understanding of how to structure and optimize content on the web, exceptional attention to editorial detail, skills in using Microsoft Office suite, Canva, Hootsuite, Direct experience using social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) on behalf of a brand, and skills with SEO.
Work requires communication skills to successfully utilize digital content to educate and engage others, express complex, abstract ideas in a straightforward, accessible way for patients and community members, and work effectively within a team.
Work requires analytical skills to assist in achieving key business metrics, effectively use SEO, and generally bring a thoughtful and strategic approach to problem solving.
Hybrid Hours:
Three days in office at Towson, Two days remote.
