SR. Analyst, QA (Manual Testing) Retail POS System

Job Summary

As a Sr. Analyst, QA Manual Testing, you will write test plans and perform manual executions of testing across a variety of software products in our Retail POS platforms(Toshiba POS ACE). This includes performing audits and tests of software products in accordance with software test plans and procedures, debugging and characterizing defects, and providing detailed configuration and descriptions for passing and failing tests for product evaluation reports.

Job Description

• Experience Required: Over 10 years manual QA experience
• Experience Desired: Understand and be able to explain overall high-level architecture options
• Experience Required: Manual testing of Retail POS systems a MUST
• Education Desired: Bachelors Degree

Job Responsibilities

• Execute manual testing according to test plans, identify discrepancies and clearly document defects, errors, interoperability flaws, and other issues within proprietary software applications.
• Write test strategies that document testing approach to include number/type of test cycles required, existing test scripts to use/update, new test scripts to write, environment requirements, training needs, and any backend systems needed for testing.
• Analyze functional specs for completeness and testability.
• Plan, provide leadership, assign, supervise, and control activities related Quality Assurance best practices for the Retail Development & POS Support Team.
• Demonstrate a methodical, detail-oriented, and thorough approach to all assignments while adhering to defined timelines.
• Evaluate current test practices and make recommendations to improve processes. Evaluate and execute a path to the use of testing automation.
