In this role as the Category Inventory Sr. Director, you lead the inventory strategy of the US Levis, Signature and Denizen Brands and oversees the supply/demand alignment. You are responsible for collaborating with merchandising and planning to ensure the development of complex profitable inventory strategies and partnering with the Global Supply Chain to ensure fulfillment of LS&Co account demand. You conducts financial analysis to determine optimum profitability strategies for the inventory flow. These flow strategies are for both replenishment product and seasonal goods.

About The Job

  • Builds and manage complex and effective inventory strategies that align with financial objectives of the company
  • Serve as a liaison between merchandise planning, supply planning, and inventory management to build delivery plans
  • Manage the Open-to-buy process and deliver against annual plans
  • Accountable for resolving issues related to product shipment delays
  • Lead channel allocation strategies
  • Critical support preparation of Regional S&OP
  • Lead, coach and develop team members to ensure performance objectives are achieved and ongoing career development occurs
  • Ensure timely PO issuance
  • Work with Global Supply Chain to define different Inventory optimization initiatives and define requirements
  • Work in close relation with category managers to achieve regional objectives, meet commitments to accounts; analyze confirmed deliveries and challenge Global Supply Chain for better supply/demand match

About You

  • Masters’s Degree, however a combination of college education and related work experience may be used as a substitute
  • 10+ years of related business experience (Supply Chain Management/ Inventory Management)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Extraordinarily comfortable with change and uncertainty, while being able to pivot in a new direction quickly
  • Expert knowledge with MS Office applications and specifically Excel and Outlook and Business Objects with experience creating specialized ad hoc reports

The expected starting salary range for this role is $173,000- $262,600. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
