Our client is a comprehensive brand consultancy specializing in delivering brand strategies, creative solutions, engagement strategies, and design services, all driven by research and focused on achieving tangible outcomes. The leadership team serves as a day-to-day point of contact for their clients, actively engaged in both overarching strategic planning and meticulous execution.


Position Overview


The position will report to the Chief Research Officer and will entail managing a variety of primary and secondary research projects aimed at understanding target audience dynamics for brand strategy development. The agency boasts premier clients over their 30+ years in business. They seek a seasoned market researcher who hands-on and is comfortable in a more entrepreneurial environment where you like wearing multiple hats. This position does not have any direct reports.


We are looking for an experienced market research professional who loves “doing the work;” a sound strategic thinker with a passion for doing what it takes to deliver powerful insights to clients of all sizes and industries. Our team is purposefully small and incredibly seasoned, with everyone rolling up their sleeves to develop and deliver powerful insights.


The ideal candidate will have deep subject matter expertise and a broad skillset spanning a range of research methodologies; in addition to being a self-starter, comfortable working with shifting directives and ambiguity.


Key responsibilities:


Develop, execute, analyze, and create findings for various projects that deliver customer and market insights to guide brand strategy and growth opportunities for our clients

Design and manage market research programs, both qualitative and quantitative, including brand tracking, market dynamics, segmentation, name and creative testing, concept testing, and custom approaches as needed

Perform data analysis and apply advanced statistical analyses to uncover insights and key drivers of behavior

Learn and utilize the company’s platform to design, program and launch surveys in a timely and cost- effective manner

Analyze multiple sources of research and information for trends and actionable insights to guide brand strategy and growth opportunities

Manage suppliers, optimize processes, and evaluate new opportunities and tools that add insight and value to the organization and our clients


Requirements:


Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Research, Psychology or related field

Minimum of 8 years of experience in market research and consumer insights, preferably in both B2B and B2C

Experienced in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, including MaxDiff, Conjoint, TURF, focus groups, and 1:1 interviews

Proficient in Microsoft Office(Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) and SPSS/ Q


Skills:


Excellent project management, organization, and prioritization skills

Ability to work with minimal supervision, delivering high-performing work in a fast-paced environment

A solid, working knowledge of statistics, including when and how to apply various techniques

Must be able to prioritize the practical over the pure in research analysis and findings

Ability to collaborate and develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, team members, subordinate(s) and suppliers

Strategic thinker with experience interpreting multiple points of data, identifying the trends and insights story to provide relevant recommendations

Effective problem solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
