The Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of buildings and other structures, ensuring their strength, stability, and compliance with regulatory standards. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a critical role in the planning and execution of various construction projects, collaborating with architects, contractors, and other engineers.Reports to:

Design and Analysis
- Develop structural designs for buildings, bridges, and other structures using appropriate materials and construction methods
- Perform detailed calculations to ensure the safety and durability of structures
- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, and ETABS for structural design and analysis
- Oversee and manage structural projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards
- Coordinate with project teams, including architects, civil engineers, and construction managers, to deliver integrated project outcomes
- Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with structural designs, including seismic, wind, and load factors
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., AISC, ACI, Eurocodes)
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide technical advice and solutions
- Present design proposals and findings to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
- Maintain clear and effective communication with all project participants to ensure alignment and satisfaction
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to integrate Structural design with overall project plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary project teams to deliver cohesive and functional spaces
- Perform quality checks and reviews of design calculations and drawings
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices
- Implement sustainable and cost-effective engineering solutions
- Support other contracting departments as needed

- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a team environment
- Have a positive attitude to help motivate our team to complete projects in tight deadlines
- Ability to manage stressful situations and to adapt to constant change
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field from an accredited institute. Master’s degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of working experience in structural engineering or a related field. Proven track record of successful projects demonstrated through a portfolio
- Project Management Experience preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license and ability to obtain in the state of Wyoming required
- OSHA 10 or ability to obtain
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs
- May involve working indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions
- Office setting with some fieldwork required for site visits and inspections
- Occasional travel may be necessary for client meetings and project oversight
