Position Summary

The Studio Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the design team and ensuring the smooth execution of studio tasks. This position involves assisting in the management of an entire collection process from inception to launch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with internal departments, suppliers, and licensors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with new product ordering process as needed
  • Prepare and update all collection spreadsheets with information
  • Responsible for the approval of all new product pre- production samples from suppliers. Communicate if approved to suppliers and Kravet warehouse. Keep that process organized and timely.
  • Communicate and work with mills, licensors and internal departments on all collections.
  • Assist in organizing and planning the collection for internal sales meeting twice a year.
  • Knowledge of home furnishings and print/wovens used in the home textile industry
  • Work with the design team in assisting sending out design projects, scanning and putting designs into repeat.
  • Some photoshop knowledge is beneficial but not a must for the job.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Detail oriented, organized, and thorough in all aspects of design.
  • Self starter & ability to work independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management.
  • Experience with administrative tasks.
  • Strong verbal, written & reading.
  • Bachelors Degree preferred not required.
  • NYC Pay Range: $50,000 - $60,000
