The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for driving continual improvement activities with suppliers. This position entails monitoring supplier performance on a regular interval and conducting supplier audits as per the annual audit plan. Duties also include performing supplier process/product qualification and claim management by using quality tools to improve the supplier performance.

Mission

The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for driving continual improvement activities with suppliers. This position entails monitoring supplier performance on a regular interval and conducting supplier audits as per the annual audit plan. Duties also include performing supplier process/product qualification and claim management by using quality tools to improve the supplier performance.
- Monitor supplier performance on a regular interval and conduct supplier audits as per the annual audit plan.
- Perform supplier process/product qualification and claim management by using quality tools to improve the supplier performance (8D, Control plan, 5Why's).
- Manage Level 3 claims with suppliers.
- Manage Supplier Risk Analysis.
- Assist suppliers in meeting the FAI requirements in product qualification.
Know The Requirements
- To comply with ITAR, must be a US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident.
- Bachelors degree in a related field or demonstrated experience in lieu of degree.
- Understanding of supplier manufacturing processes, technical background preferred
- Project Management experience in the industrial environment
- Three to five years of relevant work experience with a strong level of specialized knowledge.
- Position is required five days per week, in office. No hybrid available.
