We are seeking a qualified Surgical Technologist to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our surgical suites. As a Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
Prepares the surgical suite:
Sets up drapes, sterile solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies
Ensures all equipment and instruments are in good working order
Assists with patient care:
Helps prepare patients for surgery, including transporting, positioning, and draping
Functions as part of the surgical team during procedures:
Accurately passes instruments and supplies to the surgeon
Continuously monitors and maintains a sterile field
Maintains an accurate count of all instruments and supplies throughout the surgery
Handles specimens:
Receives and processes surgical specimens for proper delivery to the laboratory
Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology or a related field (preferred)
