Responsibilities:

  • Virtualization and Server Management:
    • Administer VMware vSphere 6.7 environments
    • Manage and optimize Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp solutions
    • Oversee Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance
  • Identity and Access Management:
    • Administer Active Directory, managing user accounts, group policies, and security
    • Support other Microsoft technologies, including O365, SQL 2012, etc
  • Desktop Support:
    • Provide Windows 10/11 desktop support to end-users
    • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop hardware and software issues
  • Network Administration:
    • Design, implement, and manage advanced LAN / WAN networks
    • Ensure the high availability of network services and resources
    • Administer VOIP systems for seamless communication
  • Security and High Availability:
    • Implement and maintain security best practices across systems and networks
    • Contribute to the design and implementation of high-availability architecture
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience as a System and Network Administrator
  • Expertise in VMware vSphere, Citrix XenDesktop, XenApp, and Windows Server
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft technologies (O365, SQL 2012), and Windows desktop support
  • Advanced understanding of LAN / WAN networks and VOIP systems
  • Familiarity with high-availability architecture principles
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Citrix Certified Associate (CCA), or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server
  • Experience with security tools and practices
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies
