Are you looking to take over a firms Tax Practice in the next year or two ?
I’m representing a highly reputable 75 attorney firm who are currently looking for a seasoned tax attorney in its Boston office.
They are looking for a candidate who is experienced enough to lead their tax practice within a year or two.
The practice involves primarily providing advice on the tax consequences, risks and opportunities of ongoing and new business entity structures and activities and addressing tax controversy matters.
They are looking for a candidate who have substantial experience addressing individual, partnership, and corporate tax aspects of: complex commercial transactions; structuring mergers and acquisitions, business formations, and debt and equity financing; employee compensation and benefits, and drafting related memoranda and documents—all in a variety of industries. Prior leadership experience is a plus. Experience with affordable housing tax credit issues, sales and use tax, and qualified plans would be a plus, but are not required.
Compensation isn’t fixed but for the right candidate the base would be north of $200,000.
