Technical Documentation Specialist

Job Title: Technical Documentation Specialist

Location: Malvern, PA

Duration: 4+ Month (Possibility of extension)

Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing building insulation material is a complex process and requires clear, updated specifications and documentation.
• This position, reporting to the R&D team will be responsible for updating or creating all the raw material specifications used by our operational teams.
• This position will closely contact other functions (R&D, purchasing, product management, operations) to gather different data, summarize them, and ensure their coherence.

Responsibilities:

• Gather technical data from different sources (colleagues, technical documents, etc.)
• Ensuring the accuracy of the raw material specification is critical for production.
• Summarizing data, writing an updated raw material specification, and securing approvals

Requirements:

High School Diploma with 5 plus years of technical writing experience, associate degree with 2 plus years of technical writing experience, or BS in any scientific/technical field (chemistry, material science, etc.)

• Ability to interpret technical documentation
• Clear, rigorous technical writing
• Fluent with Office, particularly Word and Excel
• Ability to write/understand very simple scripts in Python preferred
