We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Strategy & Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, design and implement test automation strategies, and ensure alignment with business objectives and IT infrastructure. This role is crucial for maximizing the benefits of test automation across various business areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Gather requirements and understand the specific test automation needs of different business areas.
- Strategy Design and Implementation: Develop and implement a test automation strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives and IT infrastructure.
- Framework and Standards Definition: Define and implement test automation frameworks, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects and teams.
- Opportunity Identification: Identify and prioritize test automation opportunities, such as regression and integration testing, to maximize automation benefits.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other Business IT teams to achieve high test automation penetration.
- Script Development and Maintenance: Develop and maintain test automation scripts, test cases, and test data sets to support efficient automated testing.
- Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to different teams on effectively utilizing test automation tools and frameworks.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the test automation strategy, making improvements as needed to optimize testing processes and outcomes.
Essential Qualifications:
- SAP Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of working on SAP applications, preferably SAP S4 HANA, along with an understanding of their integration points and APIs.
- Test Automation Expertise: Expertise in test automation principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Tool Proficiency: Proficiency in test automation tools such as Worksoft Certify, Selenium, QuickSilver, or similar tools.
- Programming Skills: Strong understanding of scripting and programming languages, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, to develop and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks.
