Job Description:

Overview: We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-known asset management fund in NYC, for a Trade Support Analyst. The successful candidate will specialize in special projects and middle office support, ensuring smooth and efficient trade operations and contributing to the overall success of the fund.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trade Support: Provide comprehensive support for trade activities, including trade capture, confirmation, and settlement processes.
• Middle Office Operations: Ensure accurate and timely processing of all middle office functions, including reconciliation of trade discrepancies and resolution of settlement issues.
• Special Projects: Lead and participate in special projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and implementing new systems or processes.
• Data Management: Maintain and update trade data in relevant systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on trade activities, performance metrics, and operational issues.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with trade processes, implementing best practices to enhance control measures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with front office traders, compliance, IT, and other internal teams to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance existing processes, suggesting and implementing improvements to streamline operations and increase efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in trade support, middle office, or related roles within asset management or financial services.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle and middle office functions.
• Proven experience in managing special projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems, including trade management platforms and Excel.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
