We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Trademark Consultant to join our team on a full-time basis. The role involves providing expert guidance and support in all aspects of trademark management and strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trademark law, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Roles And Responsibilities
Trademark Strategy Development:
Develop and implement trademark strategies aligned with business goals.
Conduct trademark searches and assessments to determine availability and registrability.
Advise on trademark selection, clearance, and registration strategies.
Provide recommendations on trademark portfolio management and optimization.
Trademark Prosecution and Registration:
Prepare and file trademark applications with relevant intellectual property offices.
Respond to office actions and objections raised during the trademark registration process.
Monitor trademark application status and timelines, ensuring compliance with deadlines.
Trademark Enforcement and Protection:
Conduct trademark infringement analyses and investigations.
Develop and execute enforcement strategies to protect trademarks from unauthorized use.
Coordinate with legal counsel on trademark litigation matters, if required.
Trademark Portfolio Management:
Maintain and update trademark portfolios, including renewals and maintenance filings.
Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and audits to assess trademark protection strategies.
Develop policies and procedures for trademark usage and licensing.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a trusted advisor to clients on trademark matters, providing clear and actionable advice.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g., attorneys, vendors) on trademark-related projects.
Conduct training sessions or workshops on trademark best practices and compliance.
Research and Analysis:
Stay updated on changes in trademark laws, regulations, and industry trends.
Conduct research and analysis on trademark issues and provide strategic recommendations.
