The new combined national footprint will serve more than 250,000 properties, facilitate approximately 2.5 million repair and maintenance orders, and complete nearly 20,000 renovation and turn projects per year. Lessen has quickly evolved from exciting startup to valued partner, delivering scalable and turnkey property services to our clients.

The Vendor Sourcing Specialist is a key member of the Exteriors department, responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and contracting vendors. This role involves building and maintaining collaborative relationships with vendors, monitoring their performance, and serving as the primary contact for all commercial, contractual, and operational matters. The ideal candidate will exercise independent judgment to secure favorable terms that align with the company's objectives.

What You'll Do: (Responsibilities)

Vendor Identification and Qualification:

• Conduct interviews and assessments to identify potential vendors in designated markets and service areas.
• Develop and nurture relationships with vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery and competitive pricing.
  
  

Contract Negotiation:

• Negotiate pricing and service agreements with vendors while adhering to margin requirements.
  
  

Compliance and Onboarding:

• Ensure vendors meet insurance and compliance requirements set by the company.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new client accounts and manage renewals for existing accounts.
  
  

Risk Management and Analysis:

• Assess vendor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide recommendations to leadership on resolving issues and optimizing vendor relationships.
  
  

Client Requirements Management:

• Understand client needs and effectively communicate them to vendors to ensure alignment.
  
  

Relationship Management:

• Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with vendors to foster long-term partnerships.
  
  

Issue Resolution:

• Address and resolve complex issues escalated by clients, with a focus on timely resolution.
  
  

Vendor Performance Evaluation:

• Collaborate with the operations team to evaluate vendor performance and take action as needed to address underperformance.
  
  

Flexibility:

- Maintain flexibility to adjust work schedules during peak periods as required.-

You Should Have: (Qualifications)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Experience organizing and leading meetings or remote business events.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in Facilities, Supply Chain, or Procurement preferred.
• 3-5 years of customer service or related experience preferred.
