The Vice President of Delivery will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing the delivery of our software solutions to clients in the Life Sciences sector. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the industry, exceptional project management skills, and a proven track record of driving successful implementations and ensuring client satisfaction. The VP of Delivery will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Management, and Engineering, to ensure the seamless delivery of our solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1 Leadership and Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive delivery strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing delivery team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with the executive team to define and implement best practices, methodologies, and standards for project delivery.
2 Client Engagement and Satisfaction:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact for delivery-related matters.
Ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
Monitor client satisfaction metrics and implement initiatives to enhance the overall client experience.
3 Project Management and Execution:
Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple, complex software implementation projects.
Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success, ensuring proactive resolution.
4 Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and overall effectiveness.
Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
Lead initiatives to develop and enhance the skills and capabilities of the delivery team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in professional services, delivery, or project management within the Life Sciences or software industry.
Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex software implementation projects to Life Sciences clients.
Strong understanding of the Life Sciences industry, including regulatory requirements, data management, and workflow processes.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
