The Vice President LINAK US Operations is deploying LINAK’s corporate strategy within Operations which includes focus on growth, innovation, customer intimacy and people development. Additionally, you will be responsible for the overall strategic and operational leadership of manufacturing, engineering, warehouse and supply chain, quality and aftermarket service, sourcing and customer program management and customer service functions in Louisville KY. You oversee day-to-day operations to support the growth and profitability of the organization.

The Vice President is a member of the executive leadership team in Louisville and play an important strategic role for LINAK Operations globally.

Responsibility:

• Define and implement yearly and strategic goals aligned with the goals set by the LINAK Group Headquarters, monitor performance and initiate necessary adjustments
• Develop, coordinate and implement production-, automation and operations IT technology strategy plans aligned with LINAK Group headquarters incl. defining and procurement of new equipment and technologies
• Create annual capacity costs and capital expense budgets and monitor monthly to ensure control of spending
• Develop Customer Program Management and Customer Service, Quality, Operational Excellence, Existing Products Engineering and Aftermarket Services, Sourcing, Warehouse, and Production Management teams via the teams Management structure
• Ensure global and local processes are implemented, aligned and followed plant wide and working efficiently and effectively
• Establish and review Operational and other company-wide goals and performance status with LINAK U.S. President and LINAK A/S management.
• Coordinate and implement production- and technology strategy plans with LINAK U.S. President and LINAK A/S management in support of LINAK’s worldwide strategy.
• Ensure the organization's compliance with OSHA Safety requirement and ISO9001/14001 standards
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust as needed

Requirements:

• A minimum of 7-10 years of Operations Management experience in a manufacturing environment is required
• An educational background in Business Management or Production Engineering.
• Previous international manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Must have good management and cooperation skills.
