Gryphon Oakwood are exclusively hiring for Vice President of Operations for a national life safety and fire protection contractor. The role will lead the operations team with the team throughout the Northeast, Southeast and Central South markets. The ideal candidate must have experience leading remote teams with a strong background is fire safety solutions across the commercial and industrial space.

Responsibilities:

• Drive Growth: Identify market trends and capitalize on opportunities to expand the division's reach and profitability.

• Financial Acumen: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics, achieving profitability and cost control.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Beyond Construction: Develop a robust service and maintenance program to build long-term client relationships.
• Exceptional Service: Ensure the highest service delivery standards for fire and life safety systems.
• Customer Advocacy: Drive customer satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service.

Qualifications:

• Proven Leadership Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the fire and life safety industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role demonstrating a successful track record.
• Talent Acquisition & Retention: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to attract, recruit, and retain highly skilled and motivated professionals within the fire and life safety sector.
• Financial Management: Proven ability to manage Profit and Loss statements (P&Ls) and drive financial performance within complex multi-site environments.
• Strategic Vision: Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing long-term business strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Operational Excellence: Extensive experience leading service and maintenance operations, with a deep understanding of industry best practices and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization, fostering strong and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Leadership for High Performance: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, leveraging data to make informed business decisions.
• Industry Knowledge: Possess a comprehensive understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and fire and life safety industry standards.
