Monolith is seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Vice President of Procurement and Supply Chain. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the VP of Procurement and Supply Chain will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, optimizing supply chain operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Demonstrated equivalence of 20 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management, with 15 years of experience in sourcing and procurement focused on engineering and manufacturing
- Proven track record of developing and executing procurement strategies that drive cost savings, efficiency gains, and value creation
- A strong negotiator with significant experience in contract management, supplier relationship management, and vendor selection
- A strong team builder with significant experience building and developing procurement and supply chain teams
- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with Monolith's business objectives and financial goals. Identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier relationship management
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Negotiate favorable terms, contracts, and pricing agreements to optimize value and quality while ensuring reliability and compliance
- Lead efforts to streamline and optimize supply chain processes, including inventory management, logistics, and distribution. Identify opportunities for efficiency gains, process improvements, and cost reduction initiatives
- Assess and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, market volatility, and geopolitical factors. Develop contingency plans and resilience strategies to ensure business continuity and minimize operational disruptions
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, sales, and marketing, to align procurement and supply chain strategies with overall business objectives. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the performance of procurement and supply chain activities. Analyze data and performance trends to identify areas for improvement and drive actionable insights
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and ethical sourcing practices. Uphold Monolith's values and principles in all procurement and supply chain activities
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the procurement and supply chain team. Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and professional development. Mentor and coach team members to achieve their full potential
- Eligible for hybrid flexibility. Combination of home office, main office and travel.
- Position will be based in one of our offices, Denver or Lincoln HQ
- Travel expectations 50% or more.
