Videographer / Video Editor

Do you love video editing and telling a visual story? Do you know how to ramp up video content for a business? Our client, a leading global investment firm, is currently seeking a part-time Videographer / Video Editor to join their growing in-house creative team in NYC!

Portfolio Note: In order to be considered, candidates must provide a portfolio with recent samples demonstrating a clean aesthetic and corporate experience.

You Will:

• Create videos that are investor facing that will be displayed on YouTube, social media pages, company website, and played at events
• Edit film snippets into a comprehensive story for the target audience
• Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
• Create rough and final cuts
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency

You Have:

• Proven work experience as a video editor with 3+ years of experience
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages
• Experience working in a corporate / professional environment
• Clean editing chops
• A can-do attitude

Logistics:

• Projected Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Ad hoc basis / ongoing
• Hours/Week: up to 20 hours a week
• Onsite/offsite: Onsite in Manhattan, NY
• References needed? Yes
• Salary/Rate: up to $50 PAY per hour DOE
