We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Client Services to join our leadership team. This individual will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales team, ensuring client satisfaction, overseeing project delivery, and driving innovation within the client services function. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the healthcare or pharma marketing industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive growth and excellence across our client services functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Team Support:
Collaborate closely with the sales team to support their efforts in acquiring and retaining clients.
Develop and create compelling proposals that address client needs and showcase our solutions.
Prepare detailed cost worksheets to ensure accurate pricing and budget alignment for proposals.
Provide strategic input during client meetings and presentations to drive business development efforts.
Account Management:
Ensure all clients are consistently satisfied with our services, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
Lead and mentor the account management team, fostering a culture of excellence and client-centricity.
Identify and capitalize on upsell opportunities, working closely with clients to understand their evolving needs.
Develop and implement client retention strategies to minimize churn and enhance client loyalty.
Conduct regular performance reviews and client feedback sessions to continuously improve service delivery.
Ensure clear and consistent communication with clients, keeping them informed about project status, deliverables, and any potential issues.
Act as the voice of the client within the organization, advocating for their needs and ensuring they are met.
Monitor financial performance, including revenue, margins, and profitability of client accounts.
Project Delivery:
Oversee the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they meet or exceed client expectations.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations.
Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes.
Develop project management methodologies and tools to streamline project workflows and improve efficiency.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
Leadership and Strategy:
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute the company’s client services strategy.
Align client services goals with overall business objectives and growth targets.
Drive innovation within the client services team, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
Develop a deep understanding of client businesses and industries to provide tailored solutions that drive their success.
Utilize data and analytics to track client services performance and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of client services initiatives.
Analyze client feedback and market trends to inform service enhancements and new product offerings.
Ensure the effective use of CRM and other technology tools to enhance client services operations and reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in client services, account management, or sales operations within the healthcare or pharma marketing industry.
Proven track record of supporting sales teams, managing client relationships, and delivering successful projects.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
Proficiency in Project Management tools.
