Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Vice President of Finance with extensive experience in the ultra-high net worth investment environment. The ideal candidate will have SFO, MFO and RIS or wealth management, and possess deep knowledge of public equity investments and direct portfolio management for long-term growth.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is strongly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in the ultra-high net worth investment environment (SFO, MFO, RIA, or wealth management).
Investment Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of public equity investments and direct portfolio management for long-term growth.
Leadership Skills: Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a finance team effectively.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to senior management and stakeholders.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and financial reporting tools. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software and ERP systems.
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
Ethics and Integrity: Strong ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all financial matters.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a leadership role within a family office, wealth management firm, or similar environment.
Demonstrated success in managing large and complex investment portfolios.
Strong network and relationships within the financial industry.
