JPS has been retained to recruit a physician leader as the new Vice President of Oncology Research for a multi-state integrated health system consisting of 15 hospitals, 140+ locations, and 24,000 mission partners (1,500 employed physicians).
The Vice President of Oncology Research serves as the senior leader responsible for driving the clinical research mission of the brand new $250M Cancer Institute. This physician leader oversees all oncology clinical research and supporting infrastructure, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, good clinical practice, financial stewardship, and regulatory compliance. This role is responsible for the development and activation of the Breakthrough Treatment Center (Early Phase Trial program) at the Cancer Institute, serving initially as the program director. The Vice President is expected to build and conduct a subspecialized oncology practice to include seeing patients in the clinic.
