1 Openings- 1 nights. Hours are: Nights- 7:00 p.m. -7:30 a.m. on a 2-week rotation. 3 12-hour shifts one week, then 4 12-hour shifts the second week. Alternating weekends.
Job Summary
Under the direction of the warehouse manager, supervises and helps warehouse personnel, and handles administrative responsibilities in the warehouse.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinates with Warehouse Manager on proper location of product and assigns to warehouse personnel accordingly
Partakes in morning walk with Warehouse Manager to collect daily assignments, and assigns to warehouse personnel as needed
Supervises and helps warehouse personnelon tasks for timely completion
Ensures Mac & Cheese production lines are staged according to retail production schedule
Recommends and enforces warehouse safety requirements
Participates and conducts training to ensure employees are trained and qualified on respective jobs
Completes forklift certifications and recertification for employees
Assists Warehouse Manager with disciplinary actions, employee evaluations and timecard approvals in HR system
Coordinates forklift maintenance with vendors
Coordinates with Warehouse Manager when facility repairs are needed
Verifies case count and weight on partial pallets
Assists with management of the warehouse when Warehouse Manager is absent
Performs other duties as assigned by management
Essential Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED minimum required, S. degree in Supply Chain or related area preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience as warehouse supervisor or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
1-year of experience operating forklifts required
Effective verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills required
Computer proficiency required
Must have physical ability and strength to perform assigned tasks
Must be able to communicate and work in a team environment
Ability to work with a diverse work team
Must be able to assist with weekend coverage as scheduled including holidays
Demonstrated abilities to multi-task and handle multiple priorities
Must be a professional representative of the business.
Must be able to work in high dust and noise area and be able to tolerate high heat and humidity.
Must be able to stand and walk in manufacturing environment
