Summary Statement

Responsible for providing excellent service to customers who place a bet at the Race & Sports Book area. Processes all cash transactions quickly and accurately.

Primary Job Duties

  • Greet customers, input betting information into the computer, print tickets, accept money and give tickets and change to customers.
  • Accurately maintain bank.
  • Verify winning tickets.
  • Handle and solve any concerns and questions by customers.
  • Explain wagering information when needed.
  • Maintain and update betting boards for customers to view.
  • Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: - Includes, but is not limited to:

  • Experience processing cash transactions of substantial amounts.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizations skills and attention to detail.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Preferred

  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
  • Working knowledge of betting systems used in a similar resort setting.

Minimum Education And Experience

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • At least one-year previous customer service experience in gaming or related field.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to obtain the following:
    • Nevada Gaming Registration

  • Eye/hand coordination.
  • Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
