Scientific Search client an innovator in high-performance power modules & power solutions has an immediate need for a Yield Enhancement Engineer. This is a full-time direct hire position with a dynamic organization.

Responsibilities

Work with manufacturing engineering and operations to create protocols for production teams to follow that result in high-quality products.
Implement effective quality controls, teach production staff how to use them and supervise outcomes.
Create and implement quality control workflows to improve the efficiency of the quality assurance process.
Collect data about instances of product errors and investigate possible solutions by troubleshooting the manufacturing or design process.
Apply good theoretical knowledge of electronics manufacturing engineering principles to identify issues which could or will impact product quality.
Manage detailed problem-solving process including but not limited to trend and root cause analysis, containment, corrective and preventive action using classic Six Sigma problem solving techniques
Analyze/modify current product processes and implement improvements. Perform a variety of complex engineering tasks to improve the reliability and manufacturability of company products.
Key contributor to factory process improvement using measured metrics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline
2 years related experience preferred however will train the right candidate
Knowledge of high-volume electronics manufacturing processes
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good technical analytical skills
Knowledge of quality assurance methods, tools and quality manufacturing processes
Strong attention to detail
Analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in an ever-changing environment
