- How can you as a manager, help your autistic employees deliver their best work? There are many tactical ways, but it's important first to be intentional about how you can adjust your overall perspective as a manager before thinking about specific day-to-day interactions. To adjust your overall style, we recommend taking a person-centered management approach. Person-centered management focuses on the individual needs of each employee to ensure they feel supported. This type of management offers compassion, patience, and understanding of the individual differences of each employee to support in the workplace.
