From the course: Autism in the Workplace

What this course is about

- I fully appreciate being autistic and enjoy many of my autistic traits. However, one of the tougher aspects of autism, for me, is the confusion that sets in when engaging with others. But what inspires me and Tiffany is that the future of work requires an understanding of psychology, human behavior, and this includes autism. - So true. Our hope here is to move towards that future by empowering you with ways you can better support your autistic colleagues. - Hi, I'm Nicole Seaward. - And I'm Dr. Tiffany Jameson. Please join us as will cover how to respect your autistic colleagues and their daily work, including how to respect sensory differences, adapt to social needs, build psychological safety, and improve interview processes. - To elevate voices. We've also included conversations we've had, with two autistic people. I'm excited to share all of the strategies that we know help so many people in our work. For me, this is about showing what a new definition of success in the workplace can look like. - I'm excited too. Let's do it.
