- In the previous video, we talked about what this course is about, but we want to briefly touch on what this course is not out of respect for members of the vast autistic community. After all, "If you've met one person with autism, you've met one person." - We know that stereotyping autistic people's unique interests, and abilities has pushed many of us autistic people out of the workforce. So, Tiffany and I have designed this course for neurotypical, or non-autistic people to help them move away from dangerous stereotypes, and gain real insights about autism. - I think it's also important to mention that we discuss ways to support autistic people who generally don't need a dedicated job coach, though we recognize in some cases an employee might need a job coach to do their best work. - So we don't intend to overlook that many autistic people have support needs, and may require additional adjustments when assigned to…
