Plotting from the Model and Layout tabs
- [Instructor] We're now starting another chapter in our AutoCAD Essential Training. We're at a point now where we can start considering creating output from our AutoCAD drawings. So we've got a new drawing for you. It's called creatingoutput.dwg, and you can see there that it's the floor plan that we've used previously with the grid lines, the dimensions, et cetera. What you can also see in the bottom left corner of the drawing is the fact that we have a GA layout tab and a stair A layout tab. These have all been setup as if we're going to start creating output from this particular drawing. Now what you can do in this particular drawing is create output from both the model and the layout tabs. If I wanted to plot let's say a particular area from the model tab, I could very easily just right click on the model tab with it current and go to plot. You'll notice I can even setup page setups if I want to. I'm just going to click on plot though. Now you will notice if you've never plotted…
