- [Instructor] In this video, I want to talk about a real world case study. I had the opportunity to work with a bank where they implemented an Azure VMware based solution. And I want to call out some of the important characteristics of that solution. First and foremost, this is a large bank with hundreds of retail branches. At that time, they were running large data centers with VMware workloads on them. And that's why they chose Azure VMware Solution, because they wanted to take those workloads and run them natively in Azure. They started out with a detailed cost analysis. They were using the Azure migrate tools to assess their on-premises data centers, and based on that, do cost projection and capacity projections. It was important for them to have an environment where they could scale up and down.
