- [Instructor] In this chapter, we are going to be talking about Azure VMware Solution Private Cloud and some Cluster concepts. Before we jump into the AVS Cloud construct, as it pertains inside Azure, let me say a few things about VMware virtualization. Now, keep in mind that, in this course, we don't have time to go through all of the VMware basics, but let me give you an overall sense for the VMware Virtualization Platform. So first and foremost, VMware vSphere is VMware's virtualization platform. And the idea here is that it transforms data centers into aggregating computing infrastructures that includes CPU storage and networking resources. So, vSphere manages these infrastructures as a unified operating environment that gives you tools to administer the data centers that participate in these environments.
