- [Instructor] In this video, we are going to be talking about overall planning for AVS deployment. Here are some factors that you have to keep in mind. Start with the use cases. What are the primary use cases that are motivating the deployment of AVS? Are you deploying it for disaster recovery? Are you deploying it for bursting workload from your own premises setup? Depending on the use cases, you'll have to plan your AVS deployment. Another important consideration is location. Where is your data residing? Do you have branch offices? Do you have regional offices? How close are they to Azure data centers and regions? In addition, when you're planning your AVS deployment you have to think about things like the blast radius which means you're designing for resilience.
