- [Instructor] So many energy considerations go into sustainable designs from the conceptual design stage. And Revit has simplified these considerations for designers based on industry-based practices and local standards like ASHRAE 90.1. In this video, we will explore the energy settings foundational to generating energy analytical models in Revit. So to get started, open the conceptual mass you created in Revit in the previous chapter or the file Revit Energy Settings found in the chapter three folder. So launch Revit on your PC, and from the welcome screen here, use the Open button under the Models section to navigate to the location of the exercise files on your PC. From the chapter three folder open this file, Revit Energy Settings, which of course I already have in Revit open. After that, go to the Analyze tab from the Energy Optimization panel, open the Energy Settings that are logged. From here, you will…
