- [Instructor] Now the reason we've been talking about project management is one of the functions that we see in most organizations is we see system development or software development. And as we develop these systems or these software packages, this process or these processes are best suited to be managed as a project. So they're a different type of methodology for managing projects. We're going to kind of focus on the system development or software development piece. Now what I have been looking at primarily has been following the idea of the waterfall methodology. And this is a step by step by step case where we complete step one and then move to step two, then to step three, four, five, six. This is a project management style that is good for predictable projects. Ones where we know the expectations.
