- [Charles] We didn't launch until April 20th of 2009. So there was a long stretch, even when I got involved, right. Let alone Nancy later, a year longer than Perry, you know, 2001 as a crazy, kind of a crazy. - [Host] How did you personally make ends meet? Like, were you still doing side jobs? - [Charles] Yeah, I was still doing so, two things. My wife had a day job, right. So, sugar mama. And I was, I still had a, I was like weaning off clients and this one last client that I couldn't shake, right. Which is good, right. But it finally came time to drop them, and hand, basically hand them off to some folks to manage the account because Kickstarter was launching and starting to pick up speed, and I wanted to spend more time on it. And quite frankly, it was just getting exhausting, staying up til, you know, I mean the work pattern was get up at six, go to bed at two, right. And it was like from two to four is kind of like…
