- Moving forward on this project, we're now going to focus on the detailing in terms of forming the features on the face of Alfred Hitchcock here, by drawing what will end up being the darkest letter forms to create the darker shadows on his face. We're going to just do a few of these areas here, and I'm going to zoom in, because when I begin ... usually when I did the previous one of Nikola Tesla, I started with his eyebrows. I think that would be appropriate to start here. Now, you can see the further I get in the less define this lettering shape is. I mean, in all actuality, when I drew this out, we're taking is was about one-quarter of an inch in terms of how high this letter D was. Even though I scanned it in at a high DPI, it's still kind of fuzzy when I zoom in. That's okay, because we're going to keep the process fluid. We're not going to worry about exact form.
