Geo bubble charts

Geo bubble charts

- [Instructor] This is a geo bubble chart. Geo bubble charts are very similar to geo scatter plots in that they show where locations or events appear on a map. But they differ in that the size of the points is used to encode a continuous variable. Just as with geo scatter plots, you will need precise coordinates for all the locations that you wish to visualize. Wikipedia is often a good source for locations for both events and locations. Look in the top right-hand corner of the page for coordinates. Once again, if you can't find coordinates for some points, they will need to be left out at the chart. The next best data visualization choice would be a choropleth, where you can tally the number of points known to exist within a specific region.
